People can complain about the service and atmosphere here? But if you're really looking for great wings Wendell's is the place to come. Wings range in heat levels from 'Sissy' (basically just a fried wing with no sauce) to the outrageously hot 'Double Dare'. I prefer the mildly hot 'Suicidal Sissy' or the average heat 'Regular'. The wings are smaller than you might expect. This is because they fry them longer than most places to make them extra crispy. What they lack in size they make up for in flavor. Wendell's also serves a variety of burgers and sandwiches... But c'mon, what you really want is the wings!

Simply the best. Although there are multiple levels you should stay home and eat frozen wings if you're not man enough to go with the Extra Spicy or
higher level. Your wife could use the company :)

How can u charge extra for blue cheese and if it's busy it will take forever

I thought Wendell's was over-rated the one & only time I've been there. Wings were tasty enough and cooked well enough, but weren't on the same level as Buff's in Newton.

The wings were sorta scrawny and they were expensive, especially when you consider they charge extra for blue cheese.

If I'm local to that area, I would go & get my fix there. But I wouldn't go out of my way to get there.

Best wings in MA! All buffalo, five different levels of heat, buttery unique flavor that will linger on your tongue for days after. Nothing else like it. Service can be long but its worth it.
