Maybe so! I live across the street from Jakes and rarely have the wings. Yes they can be hot. BWW has better wings and sauce IMHO.
I was told they don't sell too many so if they were THAT good they would sell. They are also expensive.

First time at this chain--very good. Better quality n meatier wings than BWW.

Lunch buffet on weekdays that have several types on the wing bar. Great value.

Typical BWW but small. Tough parking as well.
Can't beat the Tuesday wing deal though.

Overated. Seem frozen--too much breading and not wet enough.

Great place. Has won "Best Wings in Chicago" at Wingfest.
My favorite Garlic Jalepeno. Fresh pieces of each in the sauce.
Not very hot though.
